I was literally going back and forth between cackling, cry laughing and saying “AIt is sweet, witty, poignant, romantic, entertaining, challenging and talks about serious things like identity politics, what is the “right way” to be gay, what it means to be in a relationship with different points of view, the idea of marriage and commitment, the hideousness of wedding planning, how love can grow, how you need communication to really last and overcome life’s obstacles (life is not always rainbows and butterflies!!) Once again, Hall blends so many things together perfectly into a book that you simply can’t put down. I hugged the book when I was finished.įirst, this book is fucking hilarious. I read Boyfriend Material again right before this sequel and it was incredible to be completely immersed in the London Calling world with Luc & Oliver and everyone we have grown to love.

So much so that I can barely speak for I am a puddle of feels.
